The 알림장 is your child’s daily school notice — a little notebook or a message in the school app. Teachers write what to bring, what’s happening, and what parents need to do. The first weeks can feel overwhelming, so let’s break down the phrases you’ll see most.
Part 1 · Reading the 알림장
1 · SUPPLIES내일 준비물은 색연필입니다.Tomorrow’s supplies: colored pencils.
2 · SCHOOL NEWSLETTER가정통신문을 확인해 주세요.Please check the school newsletter (the notice sent home).
3 · FIELD TRIP현장체험학습이 있으니 도시락을 싸 주세요.There’s a field trip, so please pack a lunch box.
4 · INDOOR SHOES실내화를 챙겨 보내 주세요.Please send your child with indoor shoes.
5 · EARLY DISMISSAL내일은 단축 수업으로 12시에 하교합니다.Tomorrow is a shortened day; school ends at 12.
